Aesthetic Treatments by Dr Matee

Anti-wrinkle, fillers, Profhilo and skin boosters, all done by Dr Matee himself at Regenifi Clinic in Chigwell.

Treatments

Non-Surgical Treatments

Each does a different job. The consultation exists to work out which one applies to you — or whether none does.

Anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle injections relax the specific muscles that crease the skin when you make an expression.

They are used across the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Results appear over about two weeks and typically last three to four months, after which the muscle gradually regains movement. Dosage is matched to your own muscle strength rather than a fixed template, which is what keeps expression intact.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid gels placed under the skin to restore volume and definition where it has been lost.

Common areas are the cheeks, jawline, chin and nasolabial folds. Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, fillers can be dissolved if needed — which is a meaningful safety margin. Placement follows your facial structure rather than a template.

Skin boosters

Skin boosters are injectable hydrators delivered into the skin rather than applied on top of it.

Rather than adding volume, they improve hydration, texture and light reflection across an area. They are given as a short course, with results building over weeks, and suit skin that looks dull or crepey rather than deflated.

Profhilo

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads beneath the skin to address laxity and overall skin quality.

It is injected at set points and disperses, which is why it is described as a skin remodelling treatment rather than a filler — it does not add contour. Usually given as two sessions a month apart, with maintenance after that.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides work with the skin's own repair processes rather than adding volume.

They are most often used for skin quality and the under-eye area, where fillers can be unforgiving. Treatment is a course rather than a single session, and change is gradual rather than immediate.

Fat-dissolving treatments

Fat-dissolving injections target small, stubborn pockets of fat that have not responded to diet or exercise.

The under-chin area is the most common request. It is not a weight-loss treatment and it is not a substitute for one — it works on defined, localised pockets in people who are otherwise at a stable weight.

The approach

Doctor-Led, and Bespoke Every Time

Every plan is personalised. Each journey starts with a thorough consultation to understand your concerns, assess suitability and recommend the most appropriate approach — with a strong emphasis on patient safety and natural-looking results.

Dr Matee approaches aesthetics as an extension of overall wellbeing rather than a one-size-fits-all menu. Treatment is carried out by Dr Matee personally, as a medical doctor, following a detailed medical assessment.

That assessment is genuine rather than procedural. If a treatment is not appropriate for you, or if what you are hoping for is not achievable with it, you will be told that at the consultation.

Common questions

Asked Before Booking

Who performs the treatments?

Dr Matee performs every aesthetic treatment himself, as a GMC-registered medical doctor. Treatments are delivered at Regenifi Clinic in Chigwell, Essex — not at the Kent, Manchester or Dublin hair transplant clinics.

Where are aesthetic treatments carried out?

At Regenifi Clinic, 8 Brook Parade, Chigwell, Essex IG7 6PE. Hair restoration surgery is carried out separately in Maidstone, Salford and Dublin.

How long do results last?

It depends on the treatment. Anti-wrinkle injections typically last three to four months. Dermal fillers vary by product and area, commonly six to eighteen months. Skin boosters, Profhilo and polynucleotides are course-based with periodic maintenance.

Is there any downtime?

Most treatments have little. Small injection marks, redness or mild swelling can appear on the day and usually settle within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Bruising is possible with any injectable.

How do I know which treatment I need?

You do not need to decide in advance. Every plan starts with a consultation that assesses your concerns and suitability, then recommends an approach — which may be a single treatment, a combination, or none.

Can aesthetic treatments be combined with a hair transplant?

Yes, though they are delivered at different sites. Hair restoration happens in Kent, Manchester or Dublin; aesthetics at Regenifi in Essex. Scheduling is discussed at consultation.

Are the treatments reversible?

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved if required. Anti-wrinkle injections are not reversible but wear off naturally over a few months. Polynucleotides and skin boosters work with your own tissue and cannot be undone.

What happens at the consultation?

A medical assessment first — your concerns, medical history and whether treatment is appropriate at all. If it is, you get a specific plan. If it is not, you are told so.
